Before i get to deep, too soon (ooo eerrr) i need to know a few things

There are quite a few different options, i think zipped front is a given, Carpe logo back and front (breast)

Do we want names on them?

Any other suggestions or ideas?

Ask Ivan as he did a batch after the first Aviemore G2G when his was much admired. Zip front with carpe stuff on the back. Mine survived my off last summer but has a few holes in it. I'll take a pic of the back tomorrow if nobody else comes up with one.

Moose,

I noticed this zipped Hi-Vis vest when I was in the workwear shop getting the Aviemore T shirts done.
Normally they are just Velcro, but I was looking for a zipped front.

I asked him to put the same logo on the back, I just googled Yamaha Logo in the shop and he picked a suitable size.

Simples ... dry.gif

I am not that bothered on my name being on the front for UK use. But for Germany good.gif

Cheers, Ivan

I voted 'Poke it'

I tried wearing a high vis jacket when on my DT125,. as loads of twats were pulling out in front of me etc. but it made no difference.

Just expect the twats to pull out in front of you, if they've not seen your headlight then what hope have you got anyway?

Dunno, just my onions

Coming back from the NW200 last year apw and I wearing yellow jackets approached a roundabout outside Belfast where there were a load of cops waiting to pull bikers. We were in the company of a load of other riders, who we didn't know, dressed in power ranger outfits. They were all pulled while apw and I were waved through. Obviously we were considered to be mature and safety conscious bikers (or boring old farts) due to our choice of clothing! Worked for me.

I always wear the yellow jacket. If it makes one twat see me and not try to kill me it is worth it.

I'm still wearing my Viz Vest that Ivan sorted, great bit of kit with loads of pockets.
I wanted it because of the zipper as velcro simply undoes.
But!, have to use a safety pin as the zipper comes undone above 80

It would seem that the popular choice is the fitted mesh type.
I have spoken to several people about them and many have said that the cheap ones don't last and many have had zips coming undone issues.

So with that in mind I'm thinking along the lines of the Oxford ones that sell for about £30 but hopefully we might be able to get a good discount for a larger order.

I'm awaiting a call today re printing costs so will report back with that.

So what's ya onions on these?

Looked there and many Many others, they all do the standard hi vis vests, the fitted mesh ones that let air through, don't flap around and the zip stays done up seem to specifically for motorbikes and for that they charge a premium

This is the type of thing i'm thinking of (maybe slightly different design)
