You could always offer the silver as an alternative? Widens the market a bit and demonstrates that the replacement wasn't due to any damage? Just a thought - still think silver is a bit tacky.

The rear indicator system with the pointers on a pole is nicely low-tech and would appeal to any Alpine buyers. smile.gif

18,461 miles, Tax till June, Mot till end of July. Full service history, well maintained, clean and garaged.
Some long Journeys under its belt, hence the milage, Lands end to John O'Groats and the Germany last year put nearly 5,000 miles in two trips.
Never missed a beat, solid work horse, sorry to see it go... wub.gif

I have put the bike back to its original Spec for the sale.

Standard screen, seat never used by me, Centre stand, heated grips, full service history.

on sale in local motorcycle shop for £4,200, so £3,700 seals a Carpe member taking Big Red off the market.

If interested drop me a line.

Cheers, Ivan

The answer is YES! tongue.gif

Had to go a Carpedian as it was already stickered up! yeahbaby.gif

A completely different ride than the Mk1.

Initial feedback is the bike feels lighter to manoeuver, the gear change is slick, but the low speed hesitancy is something new to me, but I'm sure I'll adapt my riding style to it! Will need to get a few hundred miles under my belt to see the true extent of the differences between the Mk1 and the 9er?

The bike is a credit to the previous owner it is immaculate! good.gif

Oh Ivan what's that tube of vaseline for under the seat?
