Hello ,

I am planning a short trip in june to visit the great lake district in England.

Already know there are a couple of phantastic routes and 30% climbings to do....

The only thing I still not know are places to stay for the nigh  ( Biker hotels or other good places) t and interresting places to visit.

Perhaps here are fellow TDM Pilots.... who can give some advise?

Many thanks in advance.

Harrrumpie ( TDM900 from Holland)

I wouldn't recommend Hardknott/Wrynose in a van...

If your planning on staying over a weekend make sure you pre-book as it can get very busy and most places have a minimum two night stay policy.

Bowness on Windermere has some great pubs and places to eat.

PS

Bring your waterproof's !!!!!!!

Forgot to mention accommodation, if you want something fairly cheap and basic I stayed here before and it was ok, 2 of us shared a bunk room and there's the pub for dinner and breakfast

Although in hunting for a link for that site I found this list

and I've got say this one looks interesting
