Do you have a motto that you live by, or at least try to?

Or a particular saying that you use as it seems to fit?

Mine is 'Treat others as you would wish to be treated yourself'.........Which of course is completely incorrect, as who am I to make a judgement on others as to how they actually might want to be treated when I can only make an assumption that they might like the same type of things that I do so all I can do is make an educated or indeed non edjucated guess..................... whistle.gif

I did at one stage use ''Don't let the B@stards get you down'' - but sometimes they do, so shelved that one.

Mine is [i]'Treat others as you would wish to be treated yourself'

I find that works best in the negative: 'don't do to others what you wouldn't like done to you'.

Prior preparation prevents piss poor performance.

Better off looking at it than looking for it.

It's not life threatening, get over it.

Nothing I can do about it so not worth worrying about.

Keep your nuts greased.

Don't put yer finger an a crabs nipper, no matter how small the crab is.

I adhered to that motto from a very early age. ouch  :blush2:

Also don't forget that Hawthorn gets leaves then flowers, Blackthorn flowers then gets leaves. Both hurt when pruning.

Don't worry about things you have no control over. Life's too short.
