While I completely agree with this sentiment, I find it sad that this incident gets so much coverage/sympathy/support, but I don't recall seeing anything about the 43 dead and 240 injured in a bombing in Lebanon the day before, or the 80 wounded in a bombing in Bangladesh last month, or 22 dead and 40 wounded in a bombing in Pakistan, or 38 dead and 118 wounded in 2 bombs in Nigeria, or 95 wounded and 72 injured in 3 bombings in the Iraq in the last couple of months...

Have we become so used to terrorist atrocities that we only feel sad when one happens somewhere we might have been? :(

No word about the 224 people - including 17 children - from the MetroJet Airbus A321 on 31/10 over Sinaï ?

Russian people do not count ?

About the Paris terror attack : Sometime we people around the world are more concerned because of the symbolic meaning, beyond the deadly body count. This is not just a matter of counting the casualties.

The Russian one did get a lot of media coverage, although I expect the would have been a lot more of it was European, the others I mentioned hardly showed up on UK media. I don't know if it's different elsewhere though.
