Glad Ryans better, tell him to rock gently from heels to toes, and wriggle his toes whilst on parade, it keeps the blood moving.

Have a good time guys, hope the weather improves.

Ride safe.

Hopefully the boat did set sail eventually! Have taken the cars out of the garage so park all the bikes under cover when you get here.

Do you know, with the weather as it is I'm actually relieved I couldn't make this trip! At least the ticket didn't go to waste.
A few years ago I went on an Aprilia Futura weekend get together in Luxemburg, the first setback I hit was the rear tyre blowing out on the M40 near Oxford. Recovery truck back, new tyre, set off again next morning. This tyre delaminated near Silverstone. Recovery truck back, second new tyre and off again. I rolled up at the hotel at 03:00 on the Sunday morning everyone else was returning home.
Hope that's your bad luck for the trip out of the way, don't forget the pics of what I'm missing waiting.gif

We've all arrived. Fair to say we all got a bit of a weather thrashing on the way down. I'm wet through.
Forecast is poor.

Mark and I split off to visit the museum and Pegasus Bridge. The most rain we had all day was last the few miles to the B&B after we joined up with the rest of them again. We're smug, the rest aren't as amused. laugh.gif ChrisR was last seen trying to climb in to the tumble drier.

All is quiet at Mototrannies, (900s ya see)
The accomodation is first class and the hosts ,Ken and Lesley, are the best.
The boys are snorin the cats (not him ) a purrin. Im sleepless and wanting to fettle the bike,
then head for Carnac and the monaliths, a place I visited as a young man!
Given the weather though, tis sometimes better not make fixed plans and just follow the blue (less grey !) skies and see where it takes you.
More later chaps and hope to load a few piccies when I get back, tis far too challenging for me via a phone.

You did say you would be awake early.
Brilliant Venue, and the wine flowed but for me at this early hour, I have a head like a Donkeys Arse

Aye Carnac and the whole area is grand, goodness knows why all those stones?
Perhaps then as now to draw people togther.
Myself and Dazzer visited thst area whilst tothers went to St Nazaire.
On Kens directions we found a marvellous lunch stop in a old port, ate the local speciality of a savoury crepe and a couple of beers.
Although I have lived and been to France many times and heard that the French like bikers, never has the bikes drawn so much attention as here!?
I hope to return soon along with Angie,a great place to christen riding on the right.
