I've just had an email from the BMF along similar lines. I will probably wheel the Tracer out for a gentle ride later in the week, reminding myself that I haven't ridden for several months and so to take it steady and keep concentration up, especially as there will be so many car drivers coming out of hibernation.

Cheers Al.  I'm raising a (much smaller) glass too. :drinks:  Step 3 sees the pubs back open which may mean the TT Rally will be on.  Step 3 hopefully in July.

Just looking at the changes to see if it means we can go ride or not.  Wednesday it is. :)

My car drive shows just how rusty my roadcraft skills are. I'd better remember that when I climb on my bike - tomorrow, I hope. Not ridden since October.

Oooh interesting.  I'm surprised it's gonna be open Favs.  Bet there'll be loads of bikers there at the weekend.

Might go on Friday though, in my winter gear. :)

A bit confusing when you read.... opening 8 am Friday 15 May for weekends.   Assuming they class Friday as a weekend day ?

Can take a flask just in case eh. :)

Lovely day for a pootle and ended up at the Green Hut.  Proper blue sky too.

Had it all to myself for 20 mins until Favs turned up.  Safe distancing rules adhered to and able to have a good chinwag, unlike a few other bikers in a different group, who later turned up and started arguing.

Thanks for the bacon & egg cob Al.  Next one's on me.  Nice to get out on the bike for a while eh.

Had a grand ride out could have been the 1970s if it wasn't for the speed safety cameras and if the trucks were doing 70+ too.

Just over 300 miles today - need a bit more to get my eye-in.

Bit of a jolly nice natter with SR and a nibble of breakfast in a bun served with a smile.

Those lads were a bit handbags at dawn - cowboys on Indians?

Weather was much better than the pic shows.

The coolest SR (socially responsible?) ready for the off .
