Has any members had the opportunity to try the 1100 Bulldog, so one recently and liked the look of it , and as I don't have a lot of garage space and it being a twin it fit in next to the car, cheers

Have had a Bulldog about 18 months. Certainly different to my TDM to ride, Great engine with loads of usable torque, Up to the national speed limit it will cope admirably, 85ish gets a bit breathless. I'm just under 6Ft 2" and a fatty i find it a comfortable ride, At a stop feet flat on the deck, Once on the move only need 4th and 5th gears unless you want to get a jog on. I'm of to France in March so it will be interesting to see how it compares to my TDM in that respect.
My Son has a XT660 and he loves it when I let him borrow it.The only similarities with my two Yamaha's is that they are both Blue Bikes.

ya dares somtin about them that always caught me eye. I like the aircooled simplicity, shaft drive and they appear to be very cheap secondhand. I tink they are quite tune-able depending on which model year you buy. Like anyting these daze i'd do plenty of research afore parting with any dollar.
spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.
