here is the run up with cdi stock

https://youtu.be/aCBvAk_T3No

here is with the new cdi and tps  calibrated and working

https://youtu.be/6kZvPSjW3l4

Good stuff. I noticed the TPS value moving a round a bit in the bottom left corner.........is that a normal amount of flutter  ?

Very nice work. I used the TCIP on my TRX, interesting how minor changes can smooth out the engine throughout the range

i noted the flutation too  , does not have any effect in the idle .

It shouldn't be a problem because i think it only uses TPS as a load sensor (after reading the manual...!)

Dear all ,

sorry for the delay , but i have been working far away of home (Spain) so it has been difficult for me to continue updating the project ....

So i had few days off and start to do some work again in the project ..

First  this is my actual TDM

Attached File  IMG_20210216_173406.jpg   168.44KB   2 downloads

Attached File  IMG_20210216_173458.jpg   326.91KB   0 downloads

and i decided to do this

Attached File  IMG_20210506_142059.jpg   184.75KB   0 downloads

then decided to install this

Attached File  IMG_20210506_142137.jpg   175.5KB   0 downloads

then start to install the new wiring for the programable cdi

and off course  remove the engine from my red TDM and install on this one .

Everthing  went smooth  until i removed the engine and looked to the exhaust port ......

Attached File  IMG_20210510_165756.jpg   209.92KB   0 downloads

as you can see one exhaust port is   dark  with no signs of oil , the port is dark but dry and the other port is clean ......the exhaust from this port is total  withe , even the spark plug ....

Hi Dablick , still did not had time to sort out the problem in the engine , i returned to spain to work ..... but iam thinking probly its valve adjustment , that is causing the issue .

regarding the cdi , i got it by themhttps://www.ignitech...t units eur.pdf, with all the cables and posting i paid around 190 euros

Love this, fantastic looking bike. I'm sure, with your skill, you'll soon have it sorted

still not mate , no time during  this month .... but iam thinking that may be a problem of valve adjustment ...

Wowza !  Never seen anything like that before Med.  Any idea what's caused it to happen ?

probly valve adjustemt in one  cylinder , i have to check the valve clearence of both and  see if there are differences in the clearence
