Fronts are 8mm x 1.5 pitch and rear is 8mm x 1 fine pitch fer 9'er.

Blimey they look huge Dave, would the rear caliper have enough meat to fit one, looks a good solution..

1/8npt would take no more hole size than an M8 helicoil and wouldn't have to worry about damaging the seat.

I was going to post that here and thought it looked too much of a fudge for some people. !  Personally I would use it if it is cheap, reliable and effective (rare to have all three together !)

Just an update on my rear caliper rebuild with new stainless pistons from Wemoto.  I still haven't stripped it down again to recheck the bores..... I'm too busy using and enjoying my TDM !

 

But I must give out a bit of praise for Wemoto.  I did contact them and explained the situation and after a couple of emails they sent me return labels so that I could send the piston in question back. I actually sent one of the originals back too so that they could confirm the difference.

Within a week I received a pair of new stainless pistons and two seal kits FOC.

 

Pretty good service !

They were spot on with mine as well.
Can't beat proper service, often lacking nowadays.
