Any comments on this one , when I indicate it starts off flashing at proper rate but after a few flashes it starts flashing faster like a wrongly fitted led? Standard bulbs/ system,Gota b the relay eh

Both directions?  Fast blinking can be caused by a faulty or blown bulb.

Possibly a corroded connection, the resistance will increase as it warms up.

Does it still happen when you put the hazards on Jim ?  Any faults showing in DIAG mode ?

+1 connector/earth. Open every connector in the indicator wiring which will help to clean the contacts, a spray of contact cleaner helps

...and don't forget the bulb holders...they can corrode if any weather entered into them
