Had new left knee installed late yesterday now waiting to quiz surgeon and physio.

For a challenging summer try the

Round Britain Rally.....

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Active member of TPLQHCSRSFC and TSRMCMAS (even though a year off) and avid fan of PM not sent.

Daily meds to include  WD40 to prevent a squeek Graham, plus you can give ChrisR a real proper kick now  :D

I'm booked in to see my consultant 23rd of next month on a new right knee, thought they sorted it in December but it's worse can only ride 60min before I'm in so much pain I have to stop ;(

Hope it went well and wishing you a quick recovery fella.

Hope they fitted grease nipples to it Graham, then you'll know the squeak isn't you, it's your bike.

Just an update, things not going quite as well as with the right knee, was told that things will take time due to previous damage done in the 60's.  Three weeks in tomorrow and still a lot less than 90 degrees bend, still needing copious amounts of pain killers, bored to death getting exceedingly grumpy,  more so than usual. :sorry:

Three weeks is still very much in the dark days. Hang in there, things will get better. I found info on the forum Bonesmart.com extremely helpful. Well worth a look.
