Diy Pannier Racks

A few hours in the workshop and I knocked up a set of racks for my soft bags.
Firstly the exhausts are not stock so they came up too high for off the shelf racks and I didnt want to relocate the indicators so it had to be a custom job.
I used to strap the bags directly to the bike but they started wearing down the paint which I didn't like.
Some scrap metal, some bolts, threaded bar, some flexible ducting, a welder, grinder and drill is really all I used.

Mods; Oil pressure switch, neoprene rear inner mudguard, scottoiler, highway pegs,  fenda extenda, 1999 carbs and airbox, Kais suspension setup, later clutch springs, LED lamps, Metmachex swingarm, Hagon Shock, Oxford heated grips, 4 way fused accessory Bus, 17" 3CV front wheel, Michellin R6 tyres, GPS speedo, 5' ignition advance.

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Active member of TPLQHCSRSFC and TSRMCMAS (even though a year off) and avid fan of PM not sent.

I used some round iron and bent it into the shape you see then welded it up, what looks like rebar is flexible pvc electrical ducting left over from a job at work, total cost of this job was about 5 euro :)
