A little note to let you all know that my mate Neil aka Papa Bear on here sadly passed away in the early hours of Thursday morning. He’d been battling cancer for a few years and it finally got the better of him. We spent a bit of time over summer and autumn restoring an old Royal Enfield Ensign from about 1953. He had a plan to either ride it to Germany or go and do the NC500. Obviously, neither was going to happen due to his illness, but it was at least something to look forward too.

The fallen hero comes from him serving in the Paras in the Falklands. He did suffer with ptsd and that was showing through much more in recent times.

I know some of the guys local to me had met him on occasion and although he’d long since sold his niner, he was thinking about getting another earlier this year.

Pic is from our last euro trip back on 2017
