Here are suggested Monday/Tuesday rideouts as the formatting seemed to go haywire on previous post.


Carpe TDM - RTT 2010
Isle of Man
Coastal tour – Monday 12 July

START - Cronk Dhoo Campsite
- Right on TT
- Ballacraine straight to Peel
- Left A27 to south
- Dalby
VIEW - Niarbyl Bay – photos, view,
- Right on A36
- Port Erin if wanted
- Right on A31
- Cregneash village
CAKE - Sound Visitor Centre
- Port St Mary
- A5 to Castletown
- Douglas
VIEW Douglas Head if wanted
- A2 coast road
LUNCH – Laxey (location TBC)
- A2 Baldrine
- Turn right at Hibernian (care needed) on A15
VIEW – Maughold Head
- Ramsey
- A10 to Bride then A16
VIEW- Point of Ayre and back to Bride
CAKE - Bride
- A10 to Jurby, The Cronk
- Right on TT (contra)
- Kirk Michael right on A4
VIEW - Peel
A1 back to Ballacraine then TT (contra) Cronk Dhoo
FINISH – Cronk Dhoo Campsite

- Left on TT (contra)
- Crosby - Left on A23
- Left on B22
VIEW – Injebreck Hill
- Barregarrow - Right on TT course
- Kirk Michael
- Ballaugh - Right at pub to Ravensdale
- Left on B10 then left on TT (contra)
- Bungalow left on A14
CAKE – Tholty-will glen/Sulby Glen
- Sulby right on TT
- Ramsey
- A2 coast road
- Laxey
- Right onto B12
LUNCH – Creg Ny Baa Pub
- TT Grandstand
- Quarterbridge
- A5 then right on A24
- Foxdale - left on A3 then right onto A36
- Port Erin/Port St Mary/ Sound – revisit as requested
CAKE - Castletown Book Shop/coffee house
- Langness
- A5
VIEW - Fairy Bridge
- Douglas if want to shop
- Left on TT
FINISH – CronkDhoo Campsite

Sounds Great Pete, some memories there:

Port Erin - used to have family holidays there as a kid
Ballacraine - Somewhere there's a photo of me aged about 14 outside the Ballacraine Hotel, must dig it out.
Fairy Bridge - 900 riders photo opportunity.

Will we be visiting the bus shelter where Dandy had his brief encounter? rotflmmfao.gif

Aye n Welcome Madmanx, you did miss a hoot of a week,however afew of us are regular visitors to the I.O.M. ,meself n our lass as we have family in Onchan so keep in touch eh.

I'll post a picture of the Mad Manx tomorrow , don't think you guys will like it?
I just salvaged it from being broken for spares so she's not the bonniest of TDMs but I like it.
