Ey,up sat doing my usual trawl of YouTube, my god I came across (not literally) The God of engineering, who goes by the name of Allen Millyard. This bloke builds himself toys like a v10 motorcycle, a 5 cylinder two stroke and my favourite so far that I've seen a 6 cylinder Kawasaki Z1. He does everything himself,  hacksawing cylinder blocks building cranks. Oh no, not quite he has a friend paint it! But as someone who gets a sense of achievement from changing spark plugs. I can only think he must be an alien in disguise.

If you know all about him forgive me, if not have a look  https://www.youtube....h?v=gQ_Hd2g1uTI

Cheers and regards to all... Stay Safe

Marshall

Allen's been doing a YouTube series on various aspects of making a six cylinder Kawasaki over the last couple of weeks. There are 3 videos in total and well worth a watch.

Just watched him fettling the sons XL175 last night. I couldn't believe it when he pulled a VFR piston out and replaced it with a Kawasaki one!
