Can't promise there will be room for an espresso maker, but I should have room for my new Carbtune should anyone like to check their balance. We have 3 twins and I've had very average results with home-made manometers, because of surge, so I figured it would be a tool that pays for itself soon enough.

Graeme won't let me use it yet though... not on my 9'er anyway... but I am keen to see how close the TB's are; as it's been running really well lately since I piffed the O2 sensor. wub.gif
(I won't touch 'em, honest I won't.) angel.gif

I think... with the right long nosed pliers and the right pair of screwdrivers, it should be possible to balance most 900's without need of any panels being removed; the left fairing is the only one that might need to come off, depending on the length of the driver... and then it should only need to be loosened. Makes it only 10-15 minutes per job.

Only a twin was going to do it for Graeme, or something with torque off the mark... kinda leaves a narrow window of choice from one maker... especially if it has to handle too.

Sorry for the Virago jibe, but the power plant for the MT-01 is from the Star range which is AKA new age Virago. smile.gif

It is indeed (warrior xv1700) but has been modified quite a bit for its new role.
Thanks Merlot.

Hi Russ, glad you are coming. "Precipitate" in the sense of "cause to go hurriedly" possibly "headlong" and "rash". For sure, "condense into drops", but in the meaning of random thoughts condensing to a decision.
I intend to bore you all with the long version during the TDUT but it is very much a case of things all falling into place, not money or anything crass like that but the discovery of a bike previously looked at but not studied in enough detail.
cheers Graeme
