What a shame. I've spent countless time up there. Checking out bikes in the car park, watching the posers howl past, eating a bacon buttie with hp dripping down me chin. Even been up there on me old XT in the snow. Not much craic that day and I almost asked if I could stay the night, it was so cold.
I hope it's a quick resurrection, Easter is just round the corner...

Sad news, its a biking mecca which are few and far between. Fingers crossed the insurance will cover restoration but it's gonna take some time to get it rebuilt. Wasn't that long since I was up there with Dablik, Favs and Tintin.

Cat and fiddle has been closed ( financial problems ) for over 2 years ...
A caravan appeared and is selling coffee etc so I hope something similar will appear while rebuild takes place.
The Cat has always been a fairly precarious business I think in the last few years as rural pubs have struggled
Good luck to the folk up there to get it sorted
