Had To Get A New Bike

Some of you might remember a little while back that I had some electrical issues that I traced to a broken wire.

That was fixed, and still is, but something else has gone wrong now.

Long story short, it turns over but wont fire. Very busy at work so no time to spend on it till next spring.

Long and short of it is, I needed reliable transport immediately so went and bought this.

Pick it up tomorrow

Smart as a carrot - would consider a Fazer again. Used to have a 2000 plate in silver - traded it in for the TDM in 2005.

TBH yes, but figured it was about time I bought a newer bike (tech wise)

The TDM will be running again as soon as I have time to look at it anyway.


Already spent £600 on bits for it.

Comes with a lifetime warranty so long as I get I serviced at the dealers.

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Fazer 1000 are tasty. Nice bike. Fuel bill and points on the license come to mind for me with that.

I like these, had one for the best part of a Summer whilst the insurance company fixed my first TDM after I was knocked off. Went like the clappers, good choice!

My bad, failing eyes and mobile. Still a lovely bike and the other remarks apply. Probably a bitvless juicy though.

It's weird, but my bars always seem to fit into the unpainted grooves that run along the sides of rush hour traffic. :P  :sorry:
