ok, haven't taken them out yet (want to get the replacements first), there's an engineering company beside me that do all types of bearings. Silly question but are bearings, bearings? Or are there motorcycle specific ones?
Does anyone have the size or model number of the bearings for an '06 TDM 900?

C3 is for very hot places and rely on expansion to take up the slack.

When you order bearings for motorbikes make sure to get C1 clearance, not C3.

i had to use c3 for my front wheel bearings due to the change to 17" wheel.
I checked it out and i saw some Italian bikes' wheel bearings were C3

They must be very fast bikes then. Sometimes C3 clearance is specified for drum brakes where the temp is expected to exceed 100C. In normal wheels you will feel play in them.
i can't with mine. I must admit I was concerned at first but done 1000's of miles on them
