I bought this lovely bike nearly 7 years ago with 6,000 miles on it and it's never let me down.  It's given me miles and miles of smiles and we'll be genuinely sorry to see it go.
Passed on to my lucky husband, BSM, 3 years ago
Garaged throughout it's time with us.  Hardly ever used in winter.
Can be viewed near Harlow, Essex, just off M11.

Price - £1,750

Good bits
  • 31,000 miles
  • MOT'd to Jan 2017
  • Oil changed every 3,000 miles
  • Michelin RP 3 tyres with at least 50% tread left
  • Good C&S (DID with gold chain) with loads of miles left
  • Scottoiler - hence the good C&S
  • Centre stand
  • Stainless steel down pipes with SS stud nuts & caps
  • Fuel aftermarket cans (with baffles) + original cans inc  (sounds awesome)
  • Ermax touring screen + original screen inc
  • Shorty adjustable brake and clutch levers with gold adjusters + original levers inc
  • Stainless steel fairing bolts
  • Gold probolt sprocket and screen bolts
  • Brand new dash panel
  • Aftermarket seat cover
  • Fender extender
  • Mirror Extenders
  • SW motech engine bars (currently removed as they need painting).  Has crash bungs in place in the meantime
  • Hanguards
  • Oxford heated grips
  • Monolock rack
  • Matching silver Givi monolock top box with 2 keys
  • K&N air and oil filters
  • Osram nightbreaker bulbs
  • LED side light
  • New Megnecor HT leads to remedy occasional misfire in the wet - now cured.
  • 1 new coil
  • New battery this year
  • Fork oil and seals replaced last year
  • Fully overhauled suspension linkage (all new bearings) and checked since
  • Recent oil change (1700 miles ago)
  • Annoying but very effective speaking alarm
  • Clear indicators
  • Original tool kit
  • 2 keys and owners manual
  • Also included - 4 piece set of Tech 7 soft luggage in good condition (panniers, tank bag & tail pack)
To note
  • Cold start working perfectly but has missing return spring so not on when cold.  Spring costs £4 from Fowlers but currently out of stock.
  • Some lugs on plastics were broken when I got it and have since been repaired with care.  Outer plastics in good condition.
  • Small crack in plastic under headlamps.
  • Some paint flake on engine - par for the course on an 03 bike

This won't sit waiting for a new owner for long either. Blimey, if I was in my late 40s I'd snatch it up.

Edited to add pics of the luggage.  Apologies for the squint pics.  I've rotated till the cows come home and it just isn't happening!

On my phone I have to take the pic as though I'm right handed, clicking with the button on the right.  If I do my usual left handed pic it comes out upside down.  Fookin' technology eh.

EDIT:  BTW lovely bike, looks like it's been well cared for and recently had a good clean. :D

Thanks Studders. Some of these pics were taken on a camera and they're still lopsy!

I've received a deposit for the bike so looks like it won't be with us much longer.
