I'm about to list Muddy's old 900 on Ebay. I'll post pics soon

It's blue (woo) ,

60k miles. (mostly be Len)

new cam chain

shims checked

oil and filter

all bearings and bushes checked / cleaned / replaced as required, (includes swingarm removal and head race bearings)

new front tyre

new rear wavy disc

new pads front/back

brake fluids changed

MOT till March 2021  (MOT'd just before lockdown, grrrrr)

This was the bike with damaged plastics which i repaired and then fitted to my own bike (I prefer the darker blue) and I fitted my own's panels to this bike. A couple of panel screws are AWOL, and the inner cowling has a small piece missing (pics coming soon)

Going on eBay to auction with a start price of £1200. I would take £1100 now (or not right now, next month now would be fine)

Is that my old bike? Looking good now, good job. You forgot to add, the rear Pilot Road is near new, as seen in the pics. I'll also say that bike never let me down once on all my long trips. And since I'm a fuel scrooge, I generally rode it conservatively. Now if I only had a bit more wonga...

Blue 04 TDM,PR2 rear Roadsmart front, Yamaha topox, Givi E360 panniers, PL pannier holders, BMW handguards, Yamaha touring screen, Scottoiler, 12v ciggie socket, carbon core HT leads

Gorn :sorry:

Thanks Len. I tossed a coin over which to keep, and decided I would hang on to the high miler to see how far I can take it....plus I don't think I would get a good price on a 107000 mile bike !

This is back up for sale, the highest bidder promised me a deposit but it didn't come through, despite a couple of phone calls sharing info where he seemed genuine. The second highest bidder is upset with me for ending the sale a bit early for the other guy, and then a guy on Facebook who wanted it has bought something else.

All fun and games.

His exact words "You really annoyed me with what u did no thanks", then said he would've bid upto 1500, so I said I would take 1200 and he said 'no, your loss'.

Should I go to church now or something ? Make amends with a charitable donation ?   Maybe a bit of cake will fix it ;)

Go with the cake and sod the second bidder.

If you'd put it up this time last year I'd have probably ripped your arm off but now happy with my 4tx.

Current toys: '99 XT600E, 2000 4TX, '82 Princess 30DS (where the username comes from), No longer a '03 Fazer thou.
