The Allied Memorial Remembrance Ride (AMRR) is in support of the Poppy Appeal & is organised by the Riders Branch of The Royal British Legion  (of which I am also a member).

Over 500 motorcycles attend this event, which starts at Cambridge Services on the A14, and we ride to the Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial at Maddingley.

The Police put a rolling road-block on the A14 so we ride together in staggered formation without having to stop for anyone!  :D There is a BBQ afterwards at a local pub but you need to book early (although I won't be attending it this year).

It is now supported in several countries and the number grows each year.

I hope some of you will be able to attend.

:signthankspin:  for reading my thread  :D
