Brilliantly practical and practically fun, the TDM deserves more love than we UK bikers gave it.

ever since the 850 write up in PB, folks are crowding round the 850 much to the chagrin of my mates on XJR1300 and thruxton triumph

If any bike from the noughties deserves classic status then the 9er does. What i want to know is when can we get classic insurance.
I get mine now, 3 bikes for £90 agreed value

well the youngest is my TDM 1996. fz600 87, xs400 79.
I think you have to be over 25. agreed value, breakdown and milage limited to 3k each bike

iirc you can't transfer your NCD from classic to standard insurance, summat to consider if you think you might get a newer steed in the future. Well, that was the situation in my case, it might also depend on the insurer.
