Anyone got any experience of tourmax discs?I have got a warped disc on the front and wont replace just the one,and i cant stretch to the £330 that yamaha want.I know second hand is an option, but after ringing around and looking on ebay i may be struggling to get a decent pair.M +P are doing the tourmax discs for £99 each.

I thought Yam had reduced prices on fronts to £120/disc, mayhaps I'm wrong? Might be worth phoning Damerells. Don't know about Tourmax but my general experience of aftermarket discs has led me to stick to OEM.

I bought a used pair of TRX discs of eBay as I heard bad things about after market discs.

I foudn that there are lots of discs that fit the TDM mkII. TRX, FZR, erm some others... sorry can't remember them all, it may be worth looking into.

I think I paid £80 for the used (very little) TRX discs.

I have bought 3 sets of used discs on eBay, all three times one of them being bent with twice clear traces of a "forgotten" disc-lock.
So if you buy from eBay, expect to order twice to get one usable pair laugh.gif Also note that TRX and early Fazer 600 discs are the same as TDM ones, apart from the black paint on the centres.

No experience with Tourmax, but had some pretty bad experiences with EBC OE-replacement discs on my Africa Twin. I have stuck with "real" OE ever since.
