Handlebar risers and protection for sumps

For risers I found SW-Motech. Does anybody have any experience with handlebar riser (SW-Motch or some other name) and how much lift can I expect without new cables and wires.
For sump protection I have no ideas at all. Any sugestions?
PS. Already changed rear sprocket from 42 to 43 and made some mod for air intake on low revs.

I'm sure you're not the only one interested in that. I know I am...

I'll let go of my throttle when they pry it from my cold, dead hands...

Looked at the Nippy Normans ones but I don't want them set back as well, especially not for £35 too . Any linkies for the risers in Niksa's post?
Yeah, let's hear about bashplates
All now a fond (very fond) memory. Maybe again some day.

I don't know if the 850 one will fit ,but if someone with a 900 wants to try I'll loan them mine. But personally I don't think it would be up to much in the way of protection. other option is to speak to a local fabricator. Touratech do sump guards but not for TDM's

I pay my raisers around 25-30 euros
www.louis.de It's on german language. If you want to search for techniac part, you have to download catalogue (cca 220 MB)

WHATCH OUT
Your TDM900 rim sizes are outside these tyre recommendations...
Both TDM900 rims are 0.5" wider and tyre profiles will be flated!

Yes I know that.
Original tyres are 120/70 for front and 160/70 for rear. Until today I have allways used rear tyre 150/70 (not Anakee but Bridgestone BT). It has worked perfect even if the tyre is flatter than original. For me 150/70 is good enough because even with that tyre I have normally about 1 cm "chicken stripes".
As for front tyre I am going to use 110/80 (instead of 120/70) so I guess the flattening efect will be also not so critical.
