I like the look of both of those. dmmsta's link are individual, whereas Tams is a pair so a similar price, though you're likely to get stung with import duties from the US.

Oooh - hadn't looked at BikeVis since I bought their Bullet LED's (still to be fitted).

The lamps in my link are also nearly twice the Lumen level too...but is there such a thing as TOO much light...I guess if they're angled correctly it shouldn't be a problem.

The current draw on the BikeVis ones are kinder to the TDM elec system too.

Surely that photo showing the lights at night isn't only these LED lamps? If it is they're bloody impressive!

I've got one of THESE and you will NOT believe the amount of light that comes out of 4x AAA batteries, an LED, and an optical lens.

I can imagine that the night picture I posted is just that lamp alone...

Dmmsta, they look very similar to ones, a guys has fitted on the Tigertriple web site, one of the guy towards the bottom of the page has posted something worth reading.

I went to this combination led lights + switch




But I'm not satisfied with lumens they give, it's more like decorative light, not fog light... excl.gif

So I'll probably go to second try.

I noticed that Cree LED Lights from BikeVis are declared at 290lm, dammstas from ebay are 550lm, and same ebayer have 1500lm lights linky.

Same picture and number of leds, just 3 times more power and lumens... And 40% more expensive rolleyes.gif

Any clever comment or conclusion?

A couple more options - not cheap. I haven't used any of these, but I do have PIAA 510s on my GSA and they're pretty effective.

also reported to be very effective. Twisted Throttle I have done plenty of business with - they're a stand up outfit from my experience.

I have wunderlich micro-flooters (55W halogens) on my TDM and K12S - the PIAAs kick their ass. I'd get those kristas if money wasn't an issue, but then, it always is.

I the ability on those Denali's where you can switch lens between driving and fog - that's handy.

Yeah, could be same units. Twisted Throttle doesn't manufacture anything as far as I know. No doubt a 3rd party product they just market.

Might point the near-side one at those drivers who might be about to pull out on you - about 75 yards ahead should do it.

Spotted these on ebay before steve,, i like the fact they fit onto the forks so they will turn with the bike and put light just where you need it,, think normal retail price is about £100.
