Well me and the missus had a lovely run out today.

The 'local loop' as we call it and some of the G2G chaps will be familiar with some of the roads. It involves a run down to Grantown on Spey, and a flit over to Tomintoul for lunch, a great run over to Dufftown and then a gentle meander via a variety of single track / B roads of our choice to end up back home again.

About a hunneraneighty gentile miles and, because it was a working day and not the weekend, no eejits on Gixxers etc annoying the piss out of you...

Shhhh! If we're quiet, we won't disturb it.....

Uh-ho.....here it comes!

Two old girls have a chat over the garden fence....

Cheers

Did I mention 135mph?

Ah - a capable machine, great for long range trips but perhaps a bit pricey compared to the rest of the market.

The TDM looks good as well! rotflmmfao.gif

I love the Deeside roads Baron. Unfortunately, so do quite a few others - including the polis. We took a ride down to Glen Muik / Ballater / Balmoral etc a couple of years ago and it was glorious (thats when Billy Connolly wanted my parking space in Ballater).....but.....the midges at Glen Muik! Blimmin 'ell - I thought carniverous midges were the preserve of the West Coast. Someone must've smuggled them over I reckon!
