Hey Ryan, I can see that you're wearing your dressing gown, lol!Oh balls, yes, the valve clearances probably need doing.... just off to check the full service history.....Last service was in January this year, at 21995 miles. Doesn't look like they were done......When are they due, 25k?

28,000 smiles smile.gif TBH if they aren't making a lorra noise then leave 'em until you've done the 28,000. I guess it depends on what kinda annual mileage you'll be doin'.

Don't forget to practice the fuel tap switchover to reserve routine smile.gif Sit on bike and practice finding tap and switching to reserve, aim fer a time within 10 seconds. tongue.gif The tripmeter is your friend !!!!

Bike is now insured and I've been out for a couple of spins on it.

Love it! It pulls cleaner at lower revs, feels like it's got a bit more umph at the bottom end. Doesn't wheelie as easy as the 9er or my old mkII. To be honest I'm flipping chuffed to bits with the bike. so the list of jobs are,

* Strip and clean the calipers, was going to go for blue spots but the standard ones are very good condition.
* Replace the fork oil
* Strip clean and grease the rear suspension, adjust the damping, boing boing at the moment..
* Replace the emulsion tubes
* remove, degrease and asses the chain and sprockets
erm, that's it I think.

I found standard calipers with braided lines were just as good as the bluespots solo. I only really felt the benefit of the bluespots with a pillion on, however my pillion is a bit heavier than yours.

Oh and check your front sprocket.
