Hi everyone, I've recently been in touch with classic bike magazine regading the free (?) gift they offer with a subscription, don't know if anyone else has had a problem but I certainly have.Since early jan I've been waiting, when I get in touch with them they say they will contact me within two working days with a report into whats happening, I usually remind them after five days, then about seven days later I get a reply saying they will pass my details onto someone who will ignore the issue ( I think). Anyway don't think much of thier customer relations dept or any of how they have conducted this, but if you have had better service from them please let me know, or likewise worse service I would love to hear.
Ride safe, Bill

Yes it is from great magazines, one of their replys said all the "gifts " had been delivered some time ago, they also offered a extension to the subscription of three months I suppose it was the only thing they could source for certain

I had problems when I took out my subscription about 2 years ago. Gift never turned up. Emailed them and they said offer had finished some time ago , but they took my details and gift turned up within 2 weeks.

I started the e mail process at the end of jan, I was told they were out of stock and on back order, then told all had been delivered and don't know why mine hadn't arrived, then offered replacement , including the extra 3 month option, don't know what they'll say next, they are going to e mail me within two working days, I will probably get a reply at the end of next week, that is their usual two days.

Had another e mail from them today, they've offered a three issue extension, a cleaning kit ( helmet lining leather and fabric cleaners, ) vernier caliper ( bought one a few weeks back off ebay for 6 ) and a 22 piece wingdriver kit ( I bet its 20 of those screw driver tips and a cheap plastic case ( bought a box of assorted screw driver tips 100 tips 10 types for 4 ) so i guess they've really pushed the boat out, I've sent a reply incuding all the above info so I'll see what comes next, poor showing all around though I think.

The gift on offer when I took out the sub was the solder iron set, just had a look on ebay for the wing driver set and found that it is a 1/4 drive socket set, delivery in about 5 days, I'll let you know.

Well it seems that they are just as slow and care nothing for their customers, its now day 11, not bad when they quoted 3-5 days, sent them an e mail last friday had a reply today saying that it will be posted today and I will have a tracker number in 24-48 hours, what are the odds of this really happening.
