OK I'm selling my 900. I've got my Tenere and I've got a nice little trail bike for my commute to work two mornings a week. The poor old TDM is spending all its time forlornly sat at the side of the garage. I keep telling myself that they will become a collector item (and they may well do) but life is short and I need to move on

The bike has 39000ish miles on it and if in very fair condition. It's been used but has not had a hard life. To demonstrate that it is still on the original chain and sprockets.
It has been regularly serviced by me with the exception of the 25000 valve check service. The previous MOT mentioned an advisory on the condition of the rear disc which I have replaced and it flew through this year's MOT
The original colour is blue but the tank developed a tiny tiny pin prick hole in the top surface. So I sourced and fitted a second hand tank in yellow and as this is hidden under the baglux tank cover you don't notice it. I think the original tank could be easily sealed with a tank sealer but because I had the opportunity, I replaced it. The original tank will be included in the sale unless not required, in which case I will offer on sale on Carpe later.

The tyres are in excellent condition and the rear is almost new.

The bike has a top box attached for commuting duties.

It is taxed and tested until next March.

£2100 ovno

Over the years I have collected various bits and bobs that I will in the first instance offer to the purchaser at the prices outlined below. If I get no interest by the end of November I will put them up for sale on Carpe at the same prices plus p+p at cost

These are
a full genuine yamaha luggage system - 2 side cases with mounting rack, - £150
a brand new seat (nb pre ABS model) still in the yamaha box it was delivered in, - £100
a pair of oe silencers with ever so slight damage, - £25

There might be other stuff tucked in the garage rafters that I can't remember.

I have been a member of this forum almost from its inception and would hope that the other members would agree that I am a straight ( even though I ride a 900) and honest chap and that you can be confident in dealing with me.

If you are interested PM me and we can discuss price(s) and I can send any photos you require

No wonder you're finding commuting a problem. You're retired you old fool. :locco: And if it's a career change to motorcycle sales you're thinking of, that won't last long with an advert that honest.

You're forgetfulness aside, sorry to hear it's going, but no surprise with a modern beauty like the S10 in your garage :good: . I'd like to be able to vouch for the bike's good condition, but to be honest it's only ever been a distant speck on the horizon that I'm desperately trying to catch up with.

Not sure about disc (looking myself), but I get my C&S from these guys now:

They have multiple options on chain as well...might be worth looking at the 530 Chain Upgrade that was discussed on here (think AzzA was the man...?)
