Hi there.
Been enjoying all the great posts here on Carpe TDM! :)
am the third owner of this bike, still trying to trace its history.

I am planning a slow strip down of the bike, but am enjoying it so much on the weekends that I am loath to do it now.

Here is a nice sunset pic, just love the curves.

looks to be in reasonable nick to me, although someone's pinched your frame bungs. Needs some nice stainless parts on it though.

:welcome:

Replaced the chain and sprockets and gave the bike a minor service.

Struggled with the oil level! :P and removed some with a syringe and 6mm air hose.

Next up, replace coolant.

Wishing all at Carpe a good week.

Glad to have you on board - enjoy.

I have a question, (as I live in England) what causes the shadows in the pictures of your bike?

Think it's an Eagle screen, made in Oz if my memory is correct.
MotoGuzzi Norge 1200GT. for Euro touring
Triumph Street Triple. For those hooligan moments......

I suffer from C.D.O. It's like O.C.D. but all the letters are in the correct order, just as they should be.

Doggy.

I grew up in South Africa and have been living in the UK for 8 years now. I think the thing causing the shadows is something we used to call the sun.... I miss that bit!

The SUN?!!? I've heard of it..... coming from the west of Ireland it is a legend unseen. A god of growth and well being.... isn't it mentioned in the bible somewhere?!!

Hey guys, you are all welcome to come over ( 4.5 hours flight) and grab as much sun as you like + temps around 32 centigrade + a few billion Locust trying to invade from the Sinai desert.....

All we had this "winter" were 2 separate weeks of rain and a little snow - you took all the rest....how about we trade some for our surplus of sun???

My TDM had to be cleaned of mud only once this winter...otherwise-only some dusting and that's it.

The sun - I thought it was just an urban legend!

But at least I will know what it looks like if I ever see it!

Thanks.

The screen  is  bit tall and I would like to get a Yamaha one sometime.

Unfortunately here in Port Elizabeth we get this wind thing with the Sun thing!! :P and it buffets the bike badly.
