Can anyone supply a diagram showing fuel hose routing for a 1992 3vd? My Haynes manual does not show.. There are a couple of nipples on underside of tank. These are in addition to the petcock. One was for a vent hose going to California emissions canister, which was removed by shop mechanic, There is another one at rear underside of tank which may or may need a hose feeding to somewhere else. I am confused. Have not had bike long enough to know the proper layout of all fueling hoses and need help. I am not even sure of the proper routing of lines to and from petcock. Thanking in advance.

I looked at the fiche diagrams, but they do not show the connections between fuel tank (and hoses) and the carburetors clearly enough for my limited experience. Bike just returned from a shop and it does not seem like hoses are routed properly. Runs very well, but I had to remove bodywork and tank for something, and I found what looks like a drain hose coming from the rear of tank nipple running to carburetor. Confusion reigns. I laid the bike over recently, and am waiting for crankcase cover replacement. Cannot attempt starting bike till that is replaced and refilled with oil. All help appreciated.

There shouldn't be a hose from tank to carbs.  Might be easier for us if you post up a photo of the problem. :)
