So managed to get my bike on the road for this please feel free to browse the photos and post up any of interest

Meet was at Inverkeithing fife, then round trip over forth road bridge ending with a 3 lap ride around Knockhill Racing Circuit

Mk2a 2000 in Silver. Top end Refurb @ 41100 miles, Scottoiler, Renthal Road High Bars, Up & Back Bar Risers, Bellypan, DL650 Handguards, Capt. Like a champ , it's like a diesel locomotive ha ha only needs two gears, first and fifth


Handling is really good for such a high bike, it's real easy to get it leant right over

Believe the guy was kev meldrum in aid of a children's charity but he was involved in a accident and is in hospital awaiting an operation so was in aid of him aswell
I believe anyway, I seen the posts online to join in via bikers cove and Carron valley motorcycle club

That's the same as an Africa Twin or GS or KTM Adventure (the other 'tall' bikes I've put a few miles on). Is it something to do with a higher centre of gravity? The quick steering of my GS nearly caught out my son (he rides a Thundercat). I've never been interested in sports bikes, but the more road focussed, lower 'modern' bikes I've ridden are very stable in corners but seem to take loads more effort to tip in to a corner.

Lovely looking TDM Mick. Very clean. :)
