A website someone here referred to me has taken me for a $49 ride - Beware!

Speedsupplies.com Charged my card immediately but no response back from them. They scored an F from Betterbusinessbureau.com.
Apparently a lot of people have been taken by them. They charge your carb then it's no response. Anyone here actually receive parts from speedsupplies.com? I've just made a claim w my bank to have them refund me for a fraudulent charge.

Of course they are scammers.

 

I did a Google search and came up with loads of hits.

The mild mannered rebuttal dated Feb 2009 just reeks of extended middle finger. It's 2014.

 

They get by, by not abusing the system beyond the first transaction. Sneaky.

No way to contact these people after ordering the part. No verification of status on their "website". Don't answer the phone, Don't return emails. No way would I ever attempt to order from them again. Told me the part was on backorder from Kawasaki. Phoned local dealer and nothing on the order was backordered. Cancelled order. Hopefully I'll never have to deal with them again. Stay away unless you like headaches! If I could give a negative rating I would!

No customer Service

I placed an order 9/11/13 and have not received any type of order confirmation what so ever. I left two messages and finally got a call to say that they received my order and I would be receiving an order confirmation via email the next day. It is now 9/17/13 and I have not received any further communication from them. I have called and left messages more than twice in the past two days as well as sending three emails with NO RESPONSE AT ALL!!! I have informed them that if I do not get a response by 9/18/13 that I will take the proper steps to cancel my order and ensure that my bank rejects the payment on my card. I have NEVER experienced this type of TERRIBLE service from any online company before. I would strongly urge that you DO NOT use this company for anything! My next step will be to contact the BBB as well as the Oklahoma attorney general.

1 star is too high a rating! Charged card, got 'confirmation' e-mail, and that was all. E-mailed, called, no response. Trying to contact state AG office to complain.

Sure after I contact my credit card nearly a month into the waiting game these losers finally email me after several attempts when I tried to contact them with no response, and tell me the part isn't available...lying bastards. Buyer Beware!!! No item, No Response to e-mails, Terrible!!!

Ordered ATV part on 7/6 e-mail claimed they would ship on the 7/15, on the 21st still no e-mail to state it had been sent. I sent two inquiries with no response. On the 23rd I called the credit card company and they took the charge off our card. Terrible when you buy try to buy something and the company will not even respond.

O Stars. Just like everyone else, I've called and emailed numerous times with no response. I was wondering if they are still open for business. Purchased item in early Feb. and I still have not recieved an order confirmation or order tracking. This is a horrilble operation and I am assuming I will not get my product.

After I placed my order I read these reviews and was extremely skeptical about how the service would be. We had a question and called, they answered the phone and our question, and we received the order 4 days after we placed it. I am happy with the service and will probably order from Speed Supplies again.

a waste of time

I ordered a part for my motorcycle and while I did recieve it, it took almost a month. The reason I used speedsupplies.com in the first place was because I thought they would be faster then my local shop. WRONG! I went the first two weeks without getting a tracking number of any type. I emailed them and called a few different times each time with no answer. The last time I called I left a message saying I was going to file a complaint with the Ok attorney general if they didn't respond or send me a tracking number. Within minutes of leaving the message I recieved an email saying my order was scheduled to ship one week from that time. The timing of the email only makes me think they were screening their calls. (talk about profesional) I finally recieved the part today, but I will never use speedsupplies.com again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If this review doesn't do it for you look around on line I'm sure you'll find other unhappy customers.

I ORDERED A PART 30+ DAYS AGO AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A TRACKING NUMBER! I HAVE SENT SEVERAL REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION AND HAVE RECEIVED NONE. AND NOT TO MENTION..... Never received item

Do NOT order from them. Read other reviews, not just mine. Horrible to deal with. Placed order 3 months ago. Ordered 4 parts, one item was completed different than shown in pictured. One item was never sent. All items paid for in full with Paypal. Have called, emailed and still no reply. Have filed claim with paypal.

The only reason I rated this Co. with one star is because there is not a zero star rating!! The person running this shack should be in jail. I placed an order for a Honda Special Tool. There is no answer back no matter how many E-mails I have sent, and the phone No. the provide is just an answering machine. I ended up cancelling my credit card purchase.
