Hi

Long time since I've been on here. I have a couple of questions if possible.

I'm thinking of buying another 2010 plate TDM.

I would  like to change the bars for something flatter and also maybe drop the yokes a little. I seem to remember from my last time on here that there might be preferred bars and also the amount that the yokes can be dropped etc.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Hi B, not sure anyone replaces with flatter bars as they would probably foul the fairings on full lock !! the oem bars usually get replaced with Renthal 755 bars which are straighter as they lose the sweep back, is that what you mean ?? Have had my forks raised 18mm through the yokes, any higher and the front end seemed to have a life of it's own at lower speeds..

I have Renthal Road Ultra Low, that is about as low as you can go without scratching plastics and/or tank. There are other bars that are even wider and might have another bend that also works.
