I've never had a high opinion of Mr. Marquez.

Always thought that the little fooker rode like "if I can't win then neither can you".

Generate a ratio of Marquez contact incidents vs grand prix competed.

I'm guessing that the figure is quite embarrassing when compared alongside other riders.

It makes my blood boil when I think back and consider the shit that they gave Marco Simoncelli for riding like a God.

Glad that the grown ups seem to have the measure of Marquez now.

John Koncinski. He knew how to use a fairing as a berm. Ask Carl Fogarty.

The thrilling part of this race, is that the best rider won.

Sums it up perfectly T and G. Having said that, in the MCN Fantasy league, my two riders, Lorenzo and Iannone would have been promoted to first and second so I'd got my fingers crossed for a Marquez-induced disaster at the end. As you say, the right guy won.

Yup, MM's bin or win strategy is irking me. He has no chance in the championship but still happy to skittle contenders. No doubt Rossi made his feelings known, he can be a bit prickly.

Just confirmed for me that Rossi has the biggest pair on the grid. I would love to see him get this championship, the competition is intense.

I take my hat off to whoever posted in another thread that this would not be MM's season. Bang on. Just glad he got one more race so I don't have to eat my caberg.

The Moto 3 race is inevitably the best race of the day, in my opinion. Fantastically close racing and Danny Kent has been a revelation this year. Really riding with his head.

Absolutely concur. I'm not much of a fan bhoy but I'm right behind Kent, adds an extra dimension of excitement if that's possible with moto3. Loved Niklas Ajo's finish! I wonder if he said Amen when he crossed the line.

Been reading a lot about the race on other forums and by journos. De irked me somewhat. Rossi has torpedoed many a rider in his career, too. I hope that as MM's experience grows he gets more refined and less Kamikaze. Looks like he has a bike he can push now.

Just watched the race here in blistering hot, sarf France. So pleased for Rossi. Glad he didnt budge an inch to take a well deserved win.

I'm not a big moto gp fan, preferring WSB. I think it's much more exciting (generally) to watch than any of the moto gp - 1, 2 or 3. I watch the highlights on ITV but that's more than enough for me.

My two penny'th - last year the honda was the class of the field especially in the hands of MM. This year Yamaha are on top with arguably the best two riders slugging it out. I don't like either MM or Rossi both sound like big kids (in more ways than 1!) and behave like them- doesn't men I don't admire the talent.
