Hi to all!

We have few TDM 850 in Brazil and it is sometimes difficult to obtain information on maintenance.
A member of the Brazilian site TDM900brasil, questioned the motor temperature in TDM850 3VD.
Please, someone tell me what position is that the pointer is the temperature when you are walking on the road for example 80km / h or 90km / h?

It is close to the cold, is in the middle (between cold and red) or is close to the red?

I'm grateful if anyone can help.

Cheers!

My 3VD was pretty much like my 900s. About 1/4 off cold at speed, (close to cold) but the fan wouldn't cut in in traffic till almost in the red.

Yep, always nearly cold except when stopped in traffic on a hot day.
I can't remember the last time I heard the fan, about a year ago probably!

Hi dablik!

Thanks for the input dablik.
I have no doubt, that we now have the established pattern.

Hi to all!

Guys, member of the Brazilian site whose avatar FullThrottle returned thanking rapidity of information. Now go over his information in full and aware that the merit is of you.

"It is in that position (near the cold) that the pointer is when circle on the open road (80km / h, 90km / h).

How have the bike for a short time (and it already has 20 years) did not know whether it was normal or if it was a fault (eg faulty thermostat).

Thanks again."

Again, it is also my(Sidarta) thanks to all of you

Cheers!
