I have created this thread as a kind of log on work/updates I do on my bike.

This is how it looked when I picked it up:

FUEL exhausts are ordered (Classic polished stainless steel) and should arrive within a few days  :) Once they are put on, I will have it on a DYNO and have a full mapping of the Power Commander done (it takes one full day at a local DYNO expert).

If you want some real touring ability, consider changing the screen for a taller one.

I have now been riding with the FUEL cans on for a couple of days. Man, they are LOUD  :)

And that is with the baffles in.. I wouldn't even try them without the baffles    Wonder how they can be road legal, as FUEL claims..

Well you may freely take them out on the road, just not rely on them silencing your bike

Fitted a fender extender to keep all the road crap from spraying onto the front of the engine.

I notice from the pics that you've a centre stand fitted. Did the new pipes come with a bump stop, and is it in the right position?

Cheers and good luck with the project.

I fitted a fenda extenda when I had to divert through a well used country road covered in cow poo.

the acrid smoke and smell was the final straw expecially traveling through Knutsford town centre, thought  the cooling system has sprung a leak
