What are these connectors for, I wonder? Well tucked in on the left side under the seat. I assume one is for a (nonexistent) alarm, but the others?

I tapped #3 for a switched 12V+ to the relay for my glorious new cheap chinese heated grips, and what a treat. With my hand protectors they'll really extend the season here in the arctics.

I think...2 is a bunch of grounds (there's another near the ECU), 3 is the alarm , and 1 is at least the brake light....disconnect it and see what stops working ?

None are connected. 2 has a blank lid (may well be grounds), 3 has a lid with a loop between 2 out of 6 terminals (probably alarm), and 1 is a strange threeprong one sealed with some rubbery sealant and also with a loop between 2 terminals.

Ah yes i didn't spot that, 3 is so close to the connector for the rear lights, which is tucked around the frame probably, just in the same area, I mistook it for that.

Time to get a voltmeter out, if you really must know
