Anyone experience with this one: https://nl.aliexpres...rchweb201603_55

It looks pretty decent, at a good price to!

Two years ago I replaced my stator (after 115.000km) with a second hand one with only 13.000km on it.

The old stator wasn't broken (yet) so I replaced it as a precaution.

But the top of the windings where all black and brittle.

This year my wife's stator (also TDM900) broke down in France.

Her bike had to be brought back as repair took more than a week!

The repair (rewinding of the stator) at home cost us almost €500,=. Pretty expensive!

I wonder whether the Ali stator would have been a good alternative.

I fitted a BMW F650 stator. 10,000 miles later it's still fine (I inspected it recently) . Bought it secondhand off ebay. A little bit of soldering and splicing required to wire the stator into the harness behind the alternator cover
