Went out to Kent to look at this Norton Which it looks like we might take on, whilst I was there I got into a Landover Series IIa brake master cylinder. It's the London Ambulance historical fleet. Spent hours cataloguing Honda Pan euro parts too. Mostly motorway and narrow kent lanes.

Not allowed unfortunately. Also they take security seriously, when they have a 1930 Daimler ambulance in there. Apparently tbey supplied stuff to "Call the Midwife"

interesting stuff. Gary Sawyer (a Carpe member and the founding member of the Commuters Motorcycle Club and still owns a TDM 900) is the communications expert (radios etc) for the London Ambulance Service.

engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

Started up a bit smoky as we injected small amount of synthetic two stroke to push it round freeing up rotors. Such a smooth engine. Pity tip seals don't last.

Quadrant is welded, going to press pin it and tig weld it, need to mill surfaces flat first after measuring height. Got to go carefully they are not common.
