I am not sure as to where the two highlighted hoses run I am assuming they are breather and overflow. They come from a t piece that joins the carbs.

Not familiar with mk2 carbs, do you have 2 t-pieces on the same rail one above the other ? or one on front rail and one on back rail ?? if so front rail fuel in and back rail overflow, mk2a have a brass pipe in front/side of float bowl for fuel in and t-piece on the rail for overflow..
