Hola mi Amigos

I am back on two wheels again after what seems like an eternity, its not a TDM or even a Yamaha but I thought I would share with you cats anyway.

I thought it would be best to start off with a lightweight machine to see how I'd cope with these wonky arthritic shoulders and being on the wrong side of the road !!

Picked up a 2022 Aprilia SR GT 125, only has 6000k on the clock, the dealership delivered it to me last week from Murcia ( yes I'm a resident of España now), so I've been nipping about the villages and Urbs in the area, loving it. If I can cope with this I'll trade up for something bigger next year, should be OK I will let you know how I get on

I originally looked at the Kawasaki J300 & the Kymco Super Dink 300 (same bike, Kawasaki get Kymco to build them), brill scoots good for 90-100mph!, , but they are a bit wide and we only have a narrow gate to the bungalow so you know something would be scratched or dented before long !! , so went with the smaller machine to get used to them, never ridden a scooter before, always been proper (read as normal) bikes.

Thats why I enjoy my Royal Enfield Classic 500 chrome. Perfect for places like Spain. 27hp but lots of torque is great. Cafés are a challenge because any number of old men appear, wanting to talk old bikes. I can also treat my polishing addiction.
