Fitting me some new tie rod ends.
These have a plastic collar attached to the nut. When tightening the nut the plastic ring I guess is supposed to protect the joint from water and clag... What it actually does is ride up the nut and prevent access to nut for correct tightening.

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Seem them on some French cars, never seen them on after market stuff though. Sounds like the Chinese haven't got it sussed out yet.

On a 306 catte. Hopefully the joints are better than the plastic nubbins. (which i detached from joint and attached to bin). Getting very hard to find parts now. Peugeot have given up on em.
