After opening my mouth at the East Anglian Run, it appears that there is a bit of interest for a Lincs Run
Due to other commitments, the earliest I can manage to get things together for this would be early June

This being either Saturday 7th June, Sunday 8th June - or the following weekend Sat 14th or Sunday 15th June

Route would pretty well be my normal weekend run if I haven't got anything else to do route

Start at Grantham (I thought Grantham Honda, as they have a resident tea/coffee & bacon butty van on the forecourt)
Then onto the A52 to Osbournby
A15 to Sleaford, & on towards Lincoln
Turn off to Potterhanworth, on to Bardney, then Wragby & Market Rasen
Stop for lunch at Willingham Woods (One of Lincolnshire's biggest biking meet up places)
Take the back road then to Horncastle
Horncastle back to Bardney (very twisty)
Bardney back to Sleaford, then Grantham, to Corby Glen, then finish back on the A1 at Colsterworth Services
About 120 miles from start to finish, with a wide variety of roads & not too much traffic
Let me know preferred dates & I will get a route put on one of those multimap thingies good.gif

Sounds like a great run. The later weekend would be best for me but if honest can make either. (No gp on the later weekend).

Start point if anyone needs to know. ( like me). Here

On a different note, I just found them 3vd carbs I lost a couple of weeks ago. I'll bring them on this G2G if anyone wants them.

I'm currently free both those weekends, and could be a good excuse to go and visit my sister in Melton. unsure.gif

On the other hand with Snow Joke, a stag do and the RTT, I'm away the following 4 weekends so the girlfiend might just kill me. unsure.gif

1992 Mk1, 76k miles, Hagon springs, MTC exhaust, 4½ gears Gone now :(
2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.

Your bike has two seats, Chris! It's not your fault that biking causes you to be separated - get her on the back! Myself and Mrs S want to see more pillions! wub.gif

I could just lock her in the shed and bugger off for the weekend I suppose unsure.gif

rotflmmfao.gif

Sparky, you lugging a pillion for this g2g then? Assume Sidey'll have sidekick on the back too. Hmmm...she's not done much long distance stuff yet, but she will want to go visit my 5yr old neice unsure.gif

Bugger getting her a licence, I've seen what she's like in a car blink.gif hidden.gif

I'll be with pillion or not at all - I'd never get let out on a weekend without her! laugh.gif Would like to see more pillions coming, just so we don't feel like black sheep, especially since this would be our first G2G.

Mine is also a terrible cage pilot - been doing it for donkey's years and is still too scared to drive anywhere out of town! Getting her own licence? I'd love her to, or even just do a CBT to learn a bit more about riding, but mummy & daddy don't approve rolleyes.gif . The other problem is that we really don't have room for another bike here; it's bad enough keeping one. sad.gif

Count me in aswell, for all dates, but maybe on the Thunderace and not the TDM as the source of the misfire is still eluding me.

(Andrea and her TRX will not be on this one.)
