TDM riders can freely post messages. The messages must be TDM related, it can be about the TDM itself, accesories, experiences on the road, in court, travel plans, questions.

But no commercial type messages, to sell or buy TDM related articles go to the Market. Off course, if someone posted a message about how he or she has a busted exhaust and you happen to have an extra one or have seen a ad selling an exhaust, you can cross reference.

I'll say it again: no advertising. Ads will be deleted from the Talkabout. And we'll know where you live :-)

These measures are to keep the TDM TalkAbout free from clutter so you and I can easily browse through the postings without having to use tweezers to pluck out the good ones.

"July 11th, 1997 : I lay the foundation for Virtual Motor Club Carpe TDM, a free internet MC based in Belgium, Europe. As a TDM850 enthousiast since 1992, I gather all possible information and pictures regarding the TDM and put it on the web, translating dutch and french articles into english and scanning all available pictures.
The name Carpe TDM is derived from the Latin proverb "Carpe diem", "seize the day", which can be interpreted as "live your life now", "enjoy the moment".
