Some people came from such a long way to be there and before you ask, yes, there was plenty of cake - Ivan has video and photographic evidence!!!

Total distance travelled was 326 miles. There and back again. She did about 58 mpg almost all motorway around the 75-80.

Well worth it.

Charlie may well have a excess of cake now....

For those who enquired as to how the brass adapter on my 900 for the oil pressure switch conversion was made, here it is, also I updated the Knowledge Base entry to reflect this.

Dave luv your bike m8 wub.gif but you must stop polishing the bloody thing and ride it more often laugh.gif

Studley was out on the back roads today, and she definatley tips in much easier, feels very nice, only me arse end seems to be a bit lighter now ohmy.gif so need to get out a bit more and decide how i gonna have her set up. Also noticed after the fettle when i got home i was pushing the bike and heard a rubbing sound, seems to come from the rear wheel hub, this only since we dropped the forks, WTF ??? mystery, cant see why droppin the forks should bring this on, although the geometry of the bike has been changed a bit, see if it still happens after a few rides
Also took a run up the Rainford bypass (dual carriageway) to test out the new screen, found i got wind around me ears with it but on the back roads was excellent need a couple of runs to get used to it really, although i luv the look of it on bigred, looks boss.

Here they all are.

Screws and bolts websites:Mostly I use Stigs and Aruncas comparing between the two for standard stuff. Old Brit bikes, Stigs is best.

IF you order anything M10 you must get fine pitch M10 x 1.25 it's a jap bike thing. Standard M10 is 1.5 pitch and will not fit. (will screw in part way then jam up solid)

Pro Bolt.

www.tastynuts.com
(nice kit but very polished and expensive. (what Aircooled68 would like.)

Stigs Stainless

www.a2stainless.co.uk
very good fast delivery usually next day.

EBolt
www.ebolt.co.uk
Does not have much in M10 x 1.25

Bentleys, very good guys these also on ebay.

www.aruncas.com

Hyperbolt for those rubber M5 well nut things that fit your screen:

www.hyperbolt.com

Electric bits:

www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu

Sleeving wire terminals etc.

www.beal.org.uk

For fuel pipes, vacuum pipes small clips, brake R clips a good supplier of all sorts workshop.

Hope all this helps you all in the quest for the 99.999 % perfect TDM
