another video from the petrol station, showing some nice roads we travelled on. sorry about the quality on this one, I reduced the file size to about 40mb otherwise it was too large to upload.

Pissing it down this morning, not a fan of packing up the tent in the rain. Luckily the rain stopped while we were having breakfast at the golf club, so only a few showers and spray on the way back. Tony and I split from the rest of them on the A40, and then met up with Catsbum at H cafe for lunch. Got home, had a slice of cake, went to put the tent out in the garden to dry and it just started flipping raining!

Thanks to Readmarx for a route that was certainly up to his usual standard, and to Pantboy/Bob/Russell (cookies), Tony (fairy cakes, macaroons and shortbread) and DaveB (Welsh cakes). Think I need to go on a diet now.

Also feel obliged to point out that a 900 and a Mk2 both refused to start in the mornings, while both Mk1s fired on the first push of the button and then had to be used to jump start other bikes.
Just a shame that mine seems to be missing a gear sad.gif

Well done and thanks for sharing the pics.
One day I have to manage to join a large G2G. with my mini G2G with Aircooled, Dablik, GHL and Buzz750 I once had quality. With you guys I would have quantity...and quality, obviously.
Looks like fun.

Question : why do you mask the registration plates on the pictures? It is not like your are out of law or Hells Angels!

I often wonder about that... Anyone who walks past my bike outside of a cake shop can see my number, same for anyone that I overtake, and they can be seen on any number of videos etc... The numbers are out there for any cloners to see if they really want to. hidden.gif

Thanks to everyone for a memorable trip, well worth it. Must do the full weekend next time.

@fernihough - You have to come, the range of cakes was fantastic. I think I started with a sublime TD Macaroon, then a PB cookie (very crisp and tasty) then beer, pizza, then more beer, then breakfast, then Welsh Cakes from Dave. I was a bit worn out to be honest, I could have had more of TD's cakes but there just wasn't room!

Oh yeah, and the roads were great smile.gif

--

On the number plate thing... I agree, you could get it done locally while getting buns but if you put them up on the internet it makes the cloners job just a smidge easier smile.gif
