As is the yearly ritual, it's easier to pass a turd through the eye of a needle than 10 bikes through the Pass of Llanberis...

Look like you're getting somewhere close to a date, Studders - over on the CMC channel things are usually a little more complicated to arrange... http://dashack.co.uk...pic,7732.0.html

11 pages and we has a date - 2nd to 4th September.
Had a few Carpers along last year and a few others I'd personally not met.
Itininerary is roughly...
turn up, pitch tent, talk, take the piss, drink beer, talk, take the piss, eat food, take the piss, fall asleep, wake up, change underpants, eat breakfast, take the piss, ride, eat, take the piss, ride, back to tent and so on...
Meeting up point TBC - may well be in Abergavenny again as it's a good site, cheap rates though we'll have to organise something better on the food front or have another mass pizza delivery (should be smaller this year as Sidey's boy won't be there!).
Ride's for charidee too, so you can help others whilst having a nice ride.
I've not sorted a route, but after doing a lonely weekend ride in Wales a few weeks back...
Elan Valley road toward Aberystwyth, B4574 & B4343 (excellent road), through Llanddewi Brefi (nearly collided with a fat fella dressed in pink plastic and a little black cap), Cellen A482 to Llanwrda and probably the B4531 Skenfrith Road (excellent 10 minute rollercoaster ride) back to Abergavenny wil be included.
Everyone's welcome.

No, I'm sure last year there was quite a bit of piss taking before several people had pitched thier tents, plus a lot of piss taking while Waspy pitched his garage.

Oneal you're welcome along - but if you're thinking of bringing a tent that doubles as a garage.... I'd leave it at home!

This is the week before the Aviemore G2G so I'm tempted to take the week off and spend it bimbling from Wales to Scotland.

Booking the campsite in the next week. The site always has space so likely not a problem. Will publish a route in the next couple of weeks too.
